The built-in magnetic sensor in the palm ultrasound captures the environmental magnetic field vector and the magnetized needle's induced magnetic field vector. This information is then transmitted to the processing unit for calculating the displacement and angle of the needle, followed by generating a pattern displaying this displacement and angle information overlaid onto the ultrasound image for simultaneous visualization.
